Summer Breakfast Addiction

I am not a big breakfast food lover like son1 and son2, they could eat any breakfast food at anytime of the day.
So I tend to eat a lot of oatmeal, this can lead to oatmeal boredom.
I am always on the lookout for a way to ramp up the plain and boring.
I randomly came across this recipe from Dashing Dish for Reese's Cookie Batter Oatmeal.
Intriguing YES?

These are the only ingredients you need besides a little Stevia or whatever sweetener you like to use.
Put 1/2 cup oatmeal and 3/4 cup water into a microwavable bowl and microwave for 2 minutes.
I add 2 packets of Stevia to my oatmeal,
but you can add more or less depending on your taste.
Add 1 Tablespoon of cocoa powder
1 Tablespoon of peanut butter
Mix all of the ingredients together
Viola, yummy, chocolaty, peanut buttery goodness.
This recipe is only 260 calories to get your day started with a good filling breakfast.
Give it a try and let me know if you love it as much as I do.

Thanks to Dashing Dish for such a great recipe!

If it has peanut butter in it, then it must be delicious - that's my guidance rule :)

I will probably try this right away..all of the ingredients are favorites and it might take away my desire to eat sweets. I use a lot of Stevia. Thanks for the recipe, Brett!

This looks so good. I purchased a book called 75 Ways To Love Your Oatmeal off amazon which has the best healthy recipes. If you love oatmeal it is worth looking into.
