School Girl Prep

Did you spend last night watching the debate?
Not me!  I hosted a pajama party for 6 of my good friends.
That's right I am a 13 year old girl at heart and some would say I act like one most of the at times.
We had a lovely time eating outside in the fresh cool evening with a roaring fire.
We listened to all things 70's & 80's and gabbed until the wee hours.
We wore polka dot socks, wrapped ourselves in blankets and devoured cookies.
You would have never known most of us have college age kids!
So my look today is quite fitting since it is reminiscent of school girl days.
I have to thank Peggy
for directing me to this fabulous blackwatch blazer from...Target.
I even picked it up on sale.
I can easily see it becoming one of my favorite pieces.

When was the last time you went to a pajama party?

chambray shirt-Banana Republic
blazer-Target
skirt-CAbi
tights-HUE
boots-Anne Klein
necklace-Vera Wang via Kohl's

Love this grown up version of school girl prep!

A slumber party sounds like so much fun. Geez, I can't even remember the last time I had a girls sleepover. Probably in high school. That's sad. Heather

How cool is this outfit! So cute!

I watched the debate and I could feel my blood pressure rise and I don't even have bp problem. I don't like politics but this is a very important election, and I hope people go out in droves to vote!

Fantastic blazer! I'm in love with your boots. I've been wanting a pair of black riding boots. Maybe this year I'll find some.
