Awkward and Awesome Thursday

I hope that all of you out there that just got slammed by this Nor'easter are doing okay.
What a mess it must all be to be hit by this and still be recovering from Sandy.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Awkward:
  • The lady driving around on Tuesday that had a pink bra hanging from her passenger side mirror.  I honestly don't know if she knew that bra was there or not.
  • Leaving my new coat at a friend's house on Monday, then waking up to the two coldest days we have had here on Tuesday and Wednesday.
  • Getting an ear infection.  Who gets ear infections at this age?
  • Going through an entire box of Kleenex in one day.
  • Being woken up from a dead sleep by what I thought was husband's phone going off in the bathroom.  Got up to turn it off and it was his sonicare toothbrush, not the phone.  The toothbrush has sadly had a not so quiet death.
 Awesome:
  • My dad finally got to come home from the hospital this week!
  • We finally finished the renovations on our rental property.
  • The first  Starbucks Peppermint Mocha of the season.
  • Kleenex Cool Touch Tissues.  These things are awesome if you are blowing your nose all the time.(kind of obsessed with Kleenex this week)
  • Happy Birthday to son1 today.  He turns 21~
Son1 at age 7 doing his Elvis impersonation.

How was your week?
Any awkward or awesome moments you want to share?

Love your plaid pants -- glad your dad is home.

Maybe she just needed to dry her bra on the way to work ;)

If anything wakes me up from a deep sleep, they get a rude awakening, I am a grumpy lady when woken! LOVE that pic of son1, adorable! Maybe the pink bra had something to do with breast cancer? Only explanation I can think of!

The original intent of my comment was to say that I am so happy your Dad has been released from the hospital, you must be so relieved.
