I am trying to get back on track with my blogging.
Today is Inspiration Monday over on Two Birds.
Our Inspiration photo is of the lovely Lauren Conrad.
She is always dressed very hip and cool.
This outfit is the epitome of Hollywood casual in my opinion.
I went with black jeans instead of black leggings since my sweater was not as oversized as Lauren.
Why?
Let's say it all together girls....
Leggings are NOT pants!
If the top doesn't cover the bum, don't wear the leggings!

This look is a great look that anyone can emulate and pull off. Don't be scared to mix the black jeans with the brown boots.
Mixing black and brown gives an elevated look to any outfit.

Yes, leggings are not pants! Especially when they're too small and end up sheer in some parts-- this happens in New York all the time. Does not look good.

PREACH! Saw so many sheer leggings with butts exposed this fall... I don't know why this keeps happening every fall. LC's outfit is similar to what I wear on the plane. I like to layer because it's always freezing cold on the plane so I bring an oversized scarf to be my blanket. Also leggings are more comfortable to sit in for 6 hours than jeans.
