The Elusive Vest

If I have visited your blog and you were wearing the Old Navy military vest you know that I left a comment on how sad I was that I never bought one.
Well friends, I own one now!
After randomly looking around for one on the net at various times,
I finally found the elusive vest over on Poshmark for a mere $7.
I will admit I really wanted the green one,
but the khaki one is just fine.
I paired it with my striped sequin top and leopard smoking slipper for some drama and flash.
I gotta admit that it didn't stay belted all day since the belt I chose was way too big and kept sliding down my torso.
Now that I have this baby in my closet you will probably get tired of seeing me wear it!

We are in the "thinking" stages of getting another dog.
Our beloved Chester has been gone for a little over a year now.
 She was a Boston Terrier.

The question I pose to you now is...
what kind of dog do you have
 and
why should I get the breed you own.

So glad you scored the vest! It really is a versatile piece.

We have a yellow lab (our 2nd one). They are adorable as puppies, but highly energetic. If you want a loyal dog and well tempered then definitely get a lab. They keep you young with their energy!

I want those shoes!! I also bought an Old Navy military jacket because I turned my old military style jacket into a vest. ;)

Love this vest! I could see myself wearing it with pretty dresses all spring. I have a maltese that I am obsessed with. The breed is INCREDIBLY loving and just wants to be with you all the time. They are very kind hearted and don't require too much physical activity. They are co dependent so if you do not have a ton of time to spend with them, then they aren't a good choice.

Hey Brett, You look great today.

I don't have a dog, but I love dogs. Boston Terriers have such great character. I've met many, and love them. My husband and I go to great lengths discussing our imaginary dog that we will probably never have. We always seem to come back to a Wheaton Terrier, so I'll be watching to see if others suggest a wheatie to you. Non shedding, intelligent, and adorable.

Happy you found the vest, it's really cute!

I have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Best lap dog you will ever find. Personality of a Golden Retriever in a small body. So so sweet and smart, too!
Great indoor dog!

Love the vest! Now I want one.
We have 3 dogs and my daughter has 3 dogs.
The worst dog we've ever owned as far as training (I've trained a lot of dogs - worked at a kennel and stable years ago) is a beagle, they are driven by their nose. The best dogs we've had are from the animal shelter or dog rescue. Aysha was a sheltie mix and I only had to show her things 1 time and she got it. Our other shelter dog, Renny a wire haired terrier daschund mix is super smart and he was also extremely easy to train. Maybe rescue dogs realize how lucky they are and want to please. My daughter's 3 dogs are also all rescue and very well mannered. I do love the Cavalier King Charles Spaniels though. My other daughter, a groomer, highly recommends those. Sorry, didn't mean to write a book here.

I think this is my favorite outfit of yours so far!

We had a German Shepard/Husky mix for 16 years. She was all white and so friendly. But also pretty big, so I wouldn't advise getting one unless you are prepared to have a big dog and have lots of space for one. But otherwise, she was a great pet and we had no problems with her.

Love the vest!! I have the army green one... I wear it alot!!

We have had two scottish terriers... what a great dog they are.. no shedding, can be independent.. (scottie clothing is also VERY cute) ;)
We also have had a yorkie... also no shedding, and a great lap dog.. I would get another in a heartbeat. We have also had yorkie mixes: morkie and yorkie-poo... a small terrier doesn't shed!! and they don't make a huge mess outside... :)

Love that vest! I have been aggravated that I didn't buy the safari (that's what I call it anyway) jacket at the JCrew outlet last fall. They have another version now that isn't as cute and is more money. Note to self-if you really like it, buy it!
