Awkward and Awesome Thursday

Hello Thursday!  
And hello fellow bloggers, I hope your week has been going well.
My week has been pretty quiet, but as always...there have been moments of awkwardness and awesomeness.

Awkward:

• The moment when you realize there are more weeds in your yard than there is grass.
• The lady with the 'tude at the grocery store.  Why do some people think they are more entitled than others?
• Husband leaving to go out of town and forgetting his suitcase.  I was able to get it to him before his flight left.
• Walking through a store numerous times even though you already know they don't have what you want.  Why do I always think the item will suddenly appear?
• When you can't remember if something really happened or if you actually just dreamed that it happened.

 

 Awesome:

• Dole Banana Dippers: these things are awesome.  I found them at Costco.  They are banana slices dipped in dark chocolate and they are only 100 calories per bag.  Look in the frozen foods section for them.
• A guy stopping me and telling me he liked my outfit.
• The azaleas beginning to bloom in my yard and all over town.
• Husband going to the Master's golf tournament.
• Rediscovering a favorite color nail polish: Mod Squad by Essie. 

I decided to experiment with a bit more pattern mixing. 

 I thought paisley and stripes, why not?

I think the combo turned out well. 

 I added pops of orange that are present in the paisley design to give the outfit some fun. 

 I am wearing the Mod Squad nail color on my nails by the way.
