Awkward and Awesome Friday

Goodbye February!
Here's hoping for a nice spring-like March.
Awkward:
  • My business email server got hacked and I had to send out the dreaded change of address email.
  • My 3 week old oven blew a chip and the control board has to be replaced.
  • Putting the final touches to your bed after you have changed the sheets and realize you forgot to put the top sheet on the bed.
  • Putting away groceries and realizing you have 5 bags of brown rice in the pantry.
  • Going to the fridge for restaurant leftovers and someone beat you to them.
 Awesome:
  • A friend coming to visit for a whole week.
  • The CamMe app.  If you take selfies, you NEED this app.
  • A mini kitchen make-over.
  • Cranberry Raspberry Diet Snapple.
  • The return of Nashville, Gray's Anatomy and Scandal!
So once again my chartreuse shirt shows up yellow.
 What's a girl to do???
Went with a bit of subtle pattern mixing,
 pop of neon and
 some colorful accessories.
You can't go wrong with that combo!

Let's hear about your awesome and awkward moments this week in the comments.

This outfit is awesome! I am loving the fun tights and great skirt and of course leopard. What a bummer about the oven. I know you were pretty excited about it. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

A lovely look, love the color combination. The skirt is very pretty and sophisticated tights are cute.

Love your sense of humor Brett;) I don't think I could carry this off ~ you look darling and I like the red lipstick!

What a cool look! Is the skirt a gold-flecked tweed fabric? It's lovely, and a bit of chartreuse/yellow and leopard print never goes amiss!
    Have a great weekend. xxx

Love your skirt, Brett! And a kitchen makeover sounds fun! Although the new oven breaking isn't so great, boo!

What an adorable look! Sorry to hear about the email hacking. That happened to me a few years ago. It is awkward. :( Joy & hugs, T. http://tickledpinkwoman.blogspot.com
