Happy Clam on the Half Shell Day

Don't you love these obscure days that are designated.
Who designates them and how can you get a day designated?
You can find all this info and more at Holiday Insights.
Just a fun factoid to end the month of March.
For the month of April I will be doing an
Instagram Challenge called
 Pinned It and Spinned It.
The idea is that we are given an outfit
and we can do a literal interpretation of the outfit,
use the color palette of the look
 or
just put our own spin to it creating our unique style.
I thought it would be fun to do especially since I am getting so bored with my closet right now.
I am going to try to use just what is in my closet
 for this challenge,
 unless I see a piece I don't have
and think it would be a great asset to my closet.
This is a pretty simple look,
but has pattern and color to spice it up.
Throw in some great jewelery and it's not so simple anymore.

If you would like to follow this challenge on Instagram
to see how others are styling their outfits,
the hastag we are using is
 #pinneditandspinnedit.

I love your windowpane sweater! And those shoes are awesome. Good luck with the challenge. sometimes we just need to look at our closets with fresh eyes.
