Watercolor Blues

Happy Hump Day Readers!
I hope your week is going smoothly.
I wore this little dress last night
to a belated birthday dinner for husband.
We went to a Spanish Tapas restaurant
 and had a lovely time.
I love the neckline of this dress.
It's like a built in necklace.
I kept the accessories minimal since
 the dress is so "busy".
I picked up this dress on sale at JCPenny this summer
and debated whether or not to keep it.
I am so glad I did.
It is the perfect dress to throw on ~
on a summer night.

When debating on whether or not to keep something you bought,
do you more often keep it or take it back?

If I'm debating, I usually ask Chris, ask my sisters, and depending on their thoughts, I usually bring it back!! I shop enough that it's usually not a problem to bring it back!

That is an amazing dress, Brett! It would be prefect for so many outings in San Antonio! Love it!

Very pretty dress, Brett! I used to take back a lot more, but I think I was being a compulsive shopper and a little too impulsive. I've cut back quite a bit and leave more things in the store reminding myself if I'm still thinking about it days later I can probably still go buy it.

I'm so pleased you didn't take it back, it's a great dress, fabulous colours and print.
As a largely secondhand shopper, I don't take anything back! If something isn't right, I usually pass it on to a friend or resell it on Ebay. xxx

Hi Brett! Love that dress and so good you kept it. Whenever I think about getting rid of something I throw it into a pile and hang on to it for a while just to be sure. The main reason I get rid of things is poor fit, or patterns that I just get tired of and most likely didn't spend very much on the item (thrifted is easier to get rid of).

You look smashing, as always! What a perfect dress for tapas. I rarely take anything back. By the time I realize a garment isn't for me, it can't be returned. So I just give it away.

Whoa,
Brett, that dress is super gorgeous on you! I saw a similar dress in the window of Bergdorf Goodman this week, so yay, JC Penney!
Glad you kept it!
