Product Review

The other day I was in Sephora getting some eye-makeup remover.  At check out time they said I was eligible for my 100 point bonus item.  I usually don't get the bonus item.  I try to save up for the 500 point item.  It is usually way cooler and worth the wait.  This day I didn't forgo the 100 point item.  It was one of my favorite products ever!
Bad Girl Mascara in Plum from Benefits Cosmetics.
I started using it about this time last year and I really do give it as gifts and wear it all the time.  Not by itself, but over top my regular mascara.
Why you ask???  It helps define your lashes and intensifies the color of your eyes.  It really does!
Just curl your lashes, apply whatever regular mascara you use and then add the plum mascara to the tips of your lashes.  Viola!  Beautifully intense eyes.
Tips for using mascara:
  • As you age concentrate of the outer lashes, not the inner.  When you darken the inner lashes too much it draws attention to any dark circles under your eyes.
  • Always twirl your brush in the tube of mascara.  Pumping it up and down dries out your mascara faster.
My next product is one that I have only been using for a couple of weeks, but I think for me it is a miracle product.
Are you at the age where you lipstick is starting to feather as the day goes on, or even right after you put on your lipstick?  It is a cruel joke of life when this happens if you ask me!
Well, the answer for me is Loreal's lip contouring treatment.  Believe me when I say I tried so many products for this particular beauty problem and have been disappointed by most all.
This product not only prevents feathering, but also has a lip plumping treatment too.  Now I am not going to say my lips look like Angelina or even that you can actually see a difference, but I can feel a difference and that works for me.
As you can see it is actually one product with two sides.  The gray side is the anti-feathering side.  Just apply around your lips, smooth it out and let the cream penetrate.
The white side is the lip plumper (yea probably not a real word) Apply this onto your lips and then apply lipstick over top.
Both are white and creamy.

So there you have it~my product review for the day.
Both items are around $20 and well worth it in my opinion.
