The Day After

Survived my first party of the season!  It was quite a merry event.
Everyone was dressed in their best sparkly, shimmery or animal print best.
Shout out to Mr. F for being the best dressed male in the bunch!

Sorry to say that there is no juicy gossip to report.  Guess us regular folks just aren't as exciting as the Kardashians, the Palins or William & Kate.

On to the clothes....

Yes, I am wearing sequins again!  You know my obsession by now.
This time I chose silver.  This top is from last year when sequins were just becoming trendy.  I love the deep silver color, almost a gray.
This jacket is from a few years ago.  Never really wore it because I thought it was too matronly. Guess I was just pairing it with the wrong thing, because I don't think that now.
Do you see those shoes peeking out from under my pants???
Well, I will be having an entire blog devoted to those shoes very soon.
Those shoes and I ~ not on the best of terms.
I know I usually don't wear bling when my clothes have bling, but Hey!
It's Christmas...I just decided to go for it.
Tried to step up my game and go with a dramatic smoky eye.  Not sure if I pulled it off or not... You need to live closer to me Lady Lipstick !

I hope every one's Christmas Holidays are starting off with some Sparkle and Shine!
Cheers to you, my new blogger friends.

I went out last night and wore a velvet jacket and a sparkly cami just like you....BUT, your jacket is way cooler than mine was. What a beautiful color! Your outfit looked perfect for the occasion!

Your eye makeup looks fantastic! I am really bad at makeup.

Brett--you look lovely. It's an excellent color combination! I can't really tell about the smoky eyes from the photo and I'm no expert on makeup, but perhaps it needed to come up a bit higher (towards the brow) on the eyelid.

Now, what was Mr. F wearing?

I think your hair looks great and your makeup looks great. Your outfit is festive but classic and chic. Love it.
