There should be a law about this

My new law would be: if it is cold and freezing rain or snowing out, you should just be able to stay in bed as long as you want!!! All classes, work, appointments, etc would be postponed until the sun came back out.
That is how I felt Thursday morning!!!

I am pretty sure I have a lot of people, especially after the past two weeks that would back me up on this law!
Unfortunately, this is not a law and life goes on.

This is me, going on with life...

A million errands to run and prep for party #3! which is on Friday afternoon.  The last one (as far as I know) for the Christmas season.

I really like the casual feel of the outfit, yet it has a certain elegance with the velvet jacket.

Got my super woman stance going here.
Ready to leap tall Christmas trees in a single bound!
I know my days are totally mixed up and I hope to get them straightened out by tomorrow.  If everything goes according to plan I will be posting Wednesday's outfit along side Friday's outfit for a little fashion remix lesson.
Please keep in mind that I said IF everything goes according to plan.  The second part of my remix is still in my head, so chances are high that it will not work out.
Gives us all something to look forward to doesn't it! :)

That jacket is fabulous. I like that long shirt and now I think I need one!

Have fun at your party!

What size are those boots? (casting killer glance around at any other peeps that want them)

I'm guessing they are not a 9.5 though hmm? I have huge hoofs.

Brett--you know how to rock EVERY velvet jacket I've seen you wear. And I agree, there ought to be a law...

You really pull off velvet well! I try to avoid it as much as possible. Maybe you've just inspired me to change that. ;)

And I hear you about the weather. UGH is all I have to say about that!

Thanks for your comments and support! To answer your question: I'm laying low until I go off to grad school (hopefully in the Fall of 2012). I plan on working to pay off my loans, and I'm going to try to get into freelance journalism, because writing was/is my lifelong dream!

I am in favor of the law...in favor of wearing great jackets like this one and definitley in favor of THOSE GREAT BOOTS...with my kind of heel on them!

Love the boots!
And I have to say, you are so pretty...and I'm instantly drawn to attractive people. Yes, I'm shallow that way, but I can live with it.

What a gorgeous jacket!

In Seattle and surrounding areas, the region shuts down when it snows. We don't know how to drive in it with our hills and what not. Plus, the city/county doesn't have the best system for plows, salt/sand, whatever. So, most people do stay home. I somehow make it in to work :o(
