Thrift Store Haul

Hello Everyone!
I hope you all had a great weekend.  Mine was jam packed full.
Son1 went back to school as well this weekend.
That is always bittersweet.

I finally put together my thrift store haul from last Tuesday.
I got 6 pieces all for under $25.
  What a steal.
First up are my two tops.
Never heard of the brand for the green top, but it has sequins, so you know it was calling my name.
The second top is a Lacoste polo.
One can never go wrong with that.
See the skirt on the left?
Yep, those are big sequins on the bottom.
I love this skirt and it fits like a dream.  Unheard of brand.
The skirt on the right is from Loft and will be great to kick around in this summer.
Check out the super cute maxi dress.
The print is a bit wonky on the front, but I figure once I start moving around you will hardly notice.
The cargo pants are from The Loft and are super comfortable.

So there you have it.  My lovely thrift store haul.
You never know what you might find in there.
Right now we have tons of really nice Prom dresses.
It is so fun to watch the girls come in and try them on.
Having only boys, it is a real treat for me.

Have you ever found a great thrift store item?
I would love to hear about it.

Linda from Meet me on Monday...nice blog.I love the thrift store finds. One of my friends & I usually manage to find a thrift store where ever we go. Some days you find what you 'need' and some days not.

Love the two sequin items! Does your comment about the maxi dress mean that we will get a video instead of photos the day you wear it?

That skirt is such a great find especially since spring is so big on color blocking.

I've never tried creme brule, but now I might have to! Thanks for the tip. ; ) And I just bought a polka dot pleated skirt at a thrift store. I'm actually rocking it today on my blog. Thrifting is so fun! Have a great day.

Seriously, you have to try creme brule.
It is not only delish, it is decadent as well.
The only desert I ever order in a restaurant!

Susi
I volunteer at the Matthews Help Center and the thrift store there is pretty good. It is on Ames off of E. John St. right before you hit downtown.

I know, I couldn't believe no one else had snatched that baby up
There is another girl I work at the center with that is about my size and we are always "fighting" over clothing items.
She snagged a red leather trench a couple of months ago for $10.
I was bummed

You'd definitely have all your time eaten finding keepers on thrift stores! But you have a gift. Sometimes, you need to be a visionary to see those amazing stuff.
