One day last week I went shopping with a friend to help her come up a some things to wear on a trip. We happened to go into a shoe store. I was fine until I spotted the cutest pair of pony hair, leopard wedges ever! I picked them up, looked them over and put them down though. It really wasn't so dramatic!
I just have to remember that I am just beginning this adventure,
so it is going to be pretty easy at first.
Let's see where I am in say... about 3 or 4 more weeks.
Isn't this the cutest little dress?
I got it at Ross for $14.99 last month.
It was just calling my name and I am so glad I picked it up.
Not only is it super cute, it is super comfy and the colors just scream FALL!
I love the continued style of pairing booties with dresses.
I know many people don't like the look because it cuts the leg line. You can fix this problem by wearing the hose and booties in a similar colour and if the dress is a similar color you can create an even longer leg line.
By all means don't be afraid to skip the rule above and wear a contrasting tight with your booties.
You really can pull it off.
I have a feeling this look is here to stay, so practice the guidelines above before graduating to the just mentioned contrasting tight look if you are skeptical.
Try it,
I know you will love it.

Mmmm leopard pony hair wedges.... got to get me some of those....
Cute look and the booties are really fun! I like your patterned hose as well!
I think you look beautiful- perfect for the fall! Glad to read that you had a great trip back home for your high school reunion! (I was so delighted they made sparkly flats in growup shoes- I felt like the adult version of Suri Cruise!)
After I update my fall wardrobe a bit...maybe I should go on a retail hiatus? Love your tights btw!
Cute, cute, cute! That dress would look cute with leggings and ballet flats, too!! Love the tights!!
I'm so jealous you're wearing tights! It's supposed to be 95 where I live in OR today. I'm so sad. I miss tights and scarves! Wear some extra for me today. ; )
You know what though? I think when you're done with the not-shopping thing, you're going to appreciate it just that much more. Like, I hadn't really been shopping in almost two months, and I got a package from Urban Outfitters yesterday and I was so excited to open it. Before, I could have let it sit in the box for like, a week, because I was so used to getting new stuff all the time.
If that makes any sense.
So go, you!
And I really like them tightz. They are great and kind of Halloween-y, even.
I haven't missed shopping either, but probably only because I haven't had time. :) I am dreading the Holiday sale advertisements that will be coming soon. How am I going to steer clear???
Love the tights and the boots! Gorgeous!
