It didn't take long to return to reality after my girls weekend.
1 Sick kid, 1 Non listening kid and 1 Husband that didn't finish planting.
But it sure was nice to get away from reality for a couple of days!!
This is us lining up for a super yummy meal we all made Sat. night. Two kinds of grilled salmon, asparagus risotto, salad
and
an unusual appetizer.
This was our creative veggie sushi appetizer.
Fun to make and Fun to eat.

we shouldn't have given you so much grief, the sushi was a hit!!!!
First night there started off with a little happy hour and lots of talking on the screened in porch over looking the lake.
(we like to refer to it as the tree house)
The weather was not spectacular, but we sure made the most of it.
A little champagne for the those of us trying to live like the rich and famous for just a few days.

It is always such a harsh slap of reality when you come back from a trip! I know that when my husband and I go out of town and then come home, it is HELLO reality! Usually my son acts out when we come home for some reason. Maybe he is mad that we came home in the first place? Who knows. Looks like you guys had fun!
