I wasn't lucky enough to be in NYC this week, but I have been following along via Twitter and Instagram very closely.
My outfit today is an inspiration of some things I saw trending at Fashion Week.
It seems like fishtail braids were everywhere.
I am not one of those lucky souls with thick beautiful hair,
but I can weave a fishtail.
Sheer fabrics, polka dots along with many other patterns were also seen on the runways.
Collars were a big point of focus as well.
There were jewelry collars (like mine), sequin collars, peter pan collars and the list goes on.
The lesson here is:
even if you can't afford runway fashion,
you can incorporate a bit of it into your wardrobe without breaking the bank.

Great look and I have trouble with fishtail braids, but I'm working on it! I haven't really had the chance to check out everything from the runways, but I love the Peter Pan collar trends I'm seeing.

I think I may be one of the few fashion bloggers who doesn't follow along with NY fashion week so that's why I rely on bloggers like you! I just love the sheer blouse and the collar necklace- definitely pieces I will be wearing!
