Awkward and Awesome Thursday

We made it to another Thursday!
I hope your week was filled with awesomeness and not so much awkwardness.

Awkward:
  • The car with the broom on the back of it at the stop light.  People kept trying to get the dudes attention to tell him and he would never look any one's way.
  • Never wear skinny jeans when going for a pedicure.  It took me an embarrassingly long time to pull my pants legs back down.
  • Realizing you never put mascara on that day until you went to wash your face that night.
  • My new cup with lid and straw melting in the dishwasher.
  • My friend who is on a trip to London butt dialing me and never realizing it.
 Awesome:
  • Husband left his Ipad on the plane and it was actually returned to him the next morning.
  • Son2's amazing culinary skills.
  • Having son1 home from the hospital.
  • Watching VIKINGS on the History Channel.  I am strangely drawn to vikings and would want to have a viking funeral when I die if it weren't illegal.
  • The continued support and prayer I am getting from friends and family!!
As I said in my last post,
spring seems to keep eluding us,
so I decided to dress a bit more warmly.
I love pink and red together and decided adding some black to the mix gave it a bit more serious look.

Are you a fan of pink and red together?
Tell me about your awkward/awesome moments this week.

pink turtleneck-GAP
red skinnies-Old Navy
moto jacket-F21
shoes-Me Too
necklace-BaubleBar
scarf-gifted

Glad to hear son1 is home from the hospital. Hoping he is well :)

I lead a pretty boring life, so nothing awkward or awesome this week, LOL!

Love the pink and red combo. If spring won't come we should at least dress in bright colors! Heather

Super cute shoes in this post. Don't think I've noticed them before.
I always enjoy reading your run downs for the week. My awesomeness this week was my son's late arrival every day and tomorrow is no school. Ahhh, I love not having to listen to an alarm clock.

Reva.....I think your "awesomes" really are awesome. Especially that your son is doing better.

As for the awkwards...I've done that too with the mascara. So funny!

Love your outfit....but I swear your legs grew by a mile! Lucky you!

Glad to hear Son1 is back and home. How lucky your Hubby got his iPad back but I wouldn't want your friends phone bill! Eeek!

I grew up with a mother who insisted that pink and red clashed...so, I love to wear it now, I guess it is a bit of a remaining rebellious streak. You look great as always...so slender and stylish!!

I do like red and pink, and I hope you are at least getting to eavesdrop on some interesting conversations from across the pond.

those awesome things are beyond awesome! the iPad return just reaffirms my belief in people mostly being kind and good. that broom is a crack up. who hasn't accidentally dialed someone without meaning to? ;)
