Awkward and Awesome Thursday

We are at that point in the week when it is time to reveal our awkward and awesome moments.
Thursday's are always fun!
Awkward:
  • My apologizes to the kid that left their basketball in the front yard and JOE (the dog) decided to relieve himself on it.
  • Husband looking everywhere for his lost glasses and found them in the drawer of his night stand.  I have never known him to put his glasses in there.
  • When you open one of your favorite nail polishes and discover it has gone all watery.
  • Trying to get your reserved Redbox movie out of the kiosk and then realizing you are kiosk A not kiosk B.
  • Having a waitress that rather be anywhere in the world than where she is right now!

 Awesome:
  • Finally planting flowers all over my deck.
  • Kleenex Ultra Soft Tissues
  • Chick-fil-A Diet Lemonade
  • Teaching your dog how to sit, now on to bigger and more important commands.
  • Husband being able to cancel a business trip to take something off my plate!!

A breath of  spring in this outfit.
What says spring more than eyelet?
I decided to pair my eyelet shirt with some fun polka dots and add different shades of pink all over.
I think it makes a nice fresh, feminine look.

Let's hear about your awkward or awesome moments in the comments.

I drinking a diet lemonade from ChickFilA as I'm writting this. So yum. My awesome moment this week was when a package finally arrived that I had been waiting for for over a month!

Love this shirt again! And your hair looks really great. I liked it long, but I like this length too. It's fun and good for summer!

I love your pants! And did you know that you can use a few drops of nail polish remover into the nail polish, shake and re-use it? I used to do that all the time.

Eyelet just says spring!

Wow, I've never heard of nail polish doing that. :(

It was awkward when we went out to a fancy patio restaurant in Scottsdale, and, not seeing anywhere else, I put my purse on the ground by my chair. A waiter came over, asked me to pick up my bag, and spread a cloth napkin on the ground for me to place my bag on. I'm sure he sees bags that cost thousands of dollars owned by women who would never dream of just plopping their bag on the ground, but since I'd just cut the TJ Maxx red clearance tag off of it a few hours earlier, I wasn't that concerned! ;)

I love your eyelit shirt! There's a lot of lace around this spring. Nice to see something feminine and different.

Eyelet is so pretty, and I'm envious of anyone that can keep a white shirt crisp and clean all day :)
